Warranty Policy

Warranty Terms & Conditions

12-Month Warranty

Unless otherwise stated on the individual product listing, our products are supplied with a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers faults or defects arising from the manufacture of the product during normal and intended use.

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer legislation.

What Is Covered

Subject to the terms below, our warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects.

  • Premature failure caused by a manufacturing fault.

  • Defects in materials or workmanship which become apparent during the warranty period.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment by Auto Haus Carbon before a warranty remedy can be approved.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover faults, damage or deterioration caused by circumstances other than a manufacturing defect, including:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Incorrect, improper or negligent installation.

  • Damage occurring during installation or removal.

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage.

  • Collision, impact, stone chips or other external damage.

  • Failure to follow installation, care or maintenance instructions.

  • Incorrect maintenance or inappropriate cleaning products, chemicals or methods.

  • Modification, alteration or repair of the product by an unauthorised party.

  • Incorrect wiring, coding, programming or electrical installation.

  • Installation onto an incompatible vehicle or application.

  • Damage caused by other vehicle components or faults.

  • Motorsport, competition or other use outside the product's intended purpose, unless the product is specifically sold for such use.

  • Continued use of a product after a fault or defect has become apparent where continued use has caused additional damage.

These exclusions apply only to our additional warranty and do not limit any statutory rights you may have.

Professional Installation

Some of our products require or recommend professional installation. The relevant requirement will normally be stated on the product listing or accompanying instructions.

Where professional installation is required as a condition of our additional warranty, we may request reasonable evidence of installation by a suitably experienced professional or business.

Failure to provide evidence of professional installation may affect cover under our additional warranty where professional installation was expressly stated as a warranty requirement.

Where professional installation is recommended rather than required, self-installation does not automatically invalidate the warranty. However, faults or damage caused by incorrect installation, fitting, wiring, coding, modification or removal are not covered.

Professional installation does not itself guarantee warranty approval where the fault has been caused by installation, misuse, external damage or another excluded cause.

Making a Warranty Claim

To allow us to investigate a warranty claim efficiently, please contact us by email and provide:

  • Your name and order number.

  • Details of the product concerned.

  • A clear description of the fault or issue.

  • Clear photographs and/or video showing the issue where reasonably possible.

  • Details of when and how the issue first occurred.

  • Proof of professional installation where this was expressly required for the product and is relevant to the claim.

We may request additional photographs, videos, diagnostic information or other reasonable evidence to help establish the nature and cause of the fault.

Inspection & Return of Products

We may require the product to be returned to Auto Haus Carbon for inspection before determining the outcome of a warranty claim.

Products should not be returned without first contacting us and receiving return instructions.

Inspection may be required to determine whether the issue is the result of a manufacturing defect, installation, accidental damage, misuse, wear and tear or another cause.

Where appropriate, we may use a manufacturer, supplier or suitably qualified third party to assist with the assessment.

Warranty Remedies

Where we confirm that a product is covered by our warranty, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair or replacement, depending upon the nature of the fault and the circumstances of the claim.

Where repair or replacement is not appropriate or reasonably possible, another suitable remedy may be offered.

Nothing in this section limits any remedy to which a consumer is entitled under applicable UK consumer law.

Installation and Removal Costs

Unless required by applicable consumer law, our additional warranty does not cover consequential costs such as installation, removal, refitting, coding, programming, vehicle recovery, loss of use, vehicle hire or other associated labour costs.

Customers should contact us before arranging third-party repairs or replacement work where they intend to seek reimbursement.

Important Information

Our 12-month warranty is an additional commercial warranty provided by Auto Haus Carbon.

It does not replace, restrict or affect your statutory rights.

Consumers may have additional rights and remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including rights relating to goods that are faulty, not as described, not of satisfactory quality or not fit for their intended purpose.

Nothing within these Warranty Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under UK law.
